Official Look at the Nike SB Dunk Low "Wheat/Dark Purple"
Designed with similar color schemes of the Nike SB Dunk High “Papa Bear” that launched in 2006.
Nike and its skate-centric SB division is gearing up to drop its popular SB Dunk Low with a fresh “Wheat/Light Purple” makeover. While it isn’t directly implied in its moniker, the color palette employed on this brand new take is resemblant of the Nike SB Dunk High “Papa Bear” that launched back in 2006, only this pair deviates with a flipped scheme and ushers in leather materials.
On these low-cut sneakers, its “Dark Purple” pigment is in charge of dyeing the mesh tongues and interior linings as well as the tumbled leather toe boxes, quarter panels and collars. Adjacent to this are shaggy suede materials that construct the overlays, all of which are given “Wheat” surfaces. “Light Fusion Red” notes make their presence felt through the laces and suede-infused Swooshes. Branding is pasted to the tongues and the inserts, both of of which follow the same design cadence with brown backdrops and red lettering.
Stacked below all of that is an angelically styled midsole and an “Dark Purple” outsole that’s color-blocked with a “Light Fusion Red” Nike SB window that sits dead in the center.
Nike Korea has these slated to release on April 23, 2021 for ₩129,000 (approx. $114 USD). A stateside release has yet to be confirmed.
In case missed it, detailed photos of the Nike OverBreak SP “Dark Beetroot” and “Pollen Rise” have emerged.
