The Nike Air Raid "White/Black/University Red" is Making a Resurgence
Arriving in the same exact palette from when it dropped in 2014.

After taking part in special Nike collections such as the ABA’s “Raygun” Pack and the “Live Together/Play Together” capsule, the Air Raid is being welcomed back to the frontlines. For its next act, the Nike Sportswear silhouette is digging back into its 2014 archives to roll out a retro version of its “White/Black/University Red” colorway.
In terms of its base layer build, the sneakers begin with stark black underlays which split between a smooth nubuck towards the toe boxes and the mesh quarter paneling. Angelic tumbled leather overlays surround this foundational layer and overlap across the forefoot, mid-foot and heels. In line with all of that comes splashes of “University Red” which sprawl across the stitching of the model’s signature “X” straps, the heel tabs and the Air Raid lettering spelled out atop the collars. More details to point out include the tonal Nike logos raised on the tongues as well as the “For Outdoor Use Only” slogan debossed on the back.
Clean white midsoles are ornamented with black speckled detailing, and come mated with solid black treading down below.
This pair recently dropped via Nike Japan for $135 USD, but a release in the US is likely to go down in the coming months.
