Here's an Official Look at Nike's New Air Max Genome
Coming in “Turquoise” and “Bubble Gum.”
Nike has just introduced a brand-new silhouette to the Air Max family. Billed as the Air Max Genome, the shoe bears a sleek, tapered build that comes with a handful of hi-tech materials. The latest colorways are “Turquoise” and “Bubble Gum.”
Most of the shoe is made with a mix of perforated leather and rubber overlays. Mesh panels appear at the tongue, heel and toebox, offering ample breathability throughout the uppers. “AIR MAX” branding appears along the shoe’s pull tab, while a bold leather Swoosh is stitched onto the lateral sidewalls. Finally, the shoe comes with a clean white midsole, equipped with a transparent full-length Air sole unit and a Free Run-style rubber outsole.
Though no official release dates have been confirmed, Nike’s Air Max Genome “Turquoise” and “Bubble Gum” are set to release in the coming weeks on Nike’s website for $170 USD.
In case you missed it, Nike’s Air Max 95 has been given a textured “Iron Grey” colorway.
