Conor McGregor Reportedly Doubles Net Worth With Sale of Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
The sale reportedly cost approximately $155 million USD.
According to a report, Conor McGregor doubled his net worth with his recent Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey sale.
It was announced earlier this week that Mexican beverage company Becle exercised a call option to acquire a 51 percent stake in Eire Born Spirits (EBS), the name behind Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey. The sale reportedly cost £122 million GBP (approximately $155 million USD) and effectively pushed McGregor’s net worth to over $300 million USD.
Launched back in 2018, Proper No. Twelve has become the fastest-growing Irish whiskey with “The Notorious” actively leading marketing of the spirit. It is currently unclear what Conor McGregor’s relationship with Proper No. Twelve will look like following the sale.
