Reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny first dipped his toes in the waters of footwear collaboration back in 2020 with a glow-in-the-dark pair of Crocs, an unexpected style that HYPEBEAST selected as one of the year’s best. Since then, the Puerto Rican crooner has made noise with rumblings of his impending adidas sneakers — namely, a low-top take on the Forum that’s started to leak out to various figures in the sneaker industry via seeding kits. Now, thanks to KITH photographer Tyler Mansour, we’ve been given our best look yet at Bad Bunny’s first project with adidas Originals.

With an earthy color scheme and chunky build bolstered by a removable collar buckle system plus an extra heel piece and toggle, Bunny’s sneaker seems to be inspired by skateboarding and hiking alike. Its base is constructed of peanut butter leather, while the vast majority of the overlays are done up in either wheat or brown suede. A signature eye graphic is placed on the tongue tag, and when the strap is opened it reads “YO VISTO ASI,” or “I DRESS LIKE THIS/I DRESS THIS WAY” in English.

Gum midsoles add classic flair, while brown outsoles complete the look with an icy blue forefoot pivot point that features BB’s familiar rabbit logo. The friends-and-family kits also arrive with a plethora of goodies: a floral-printed tumbler, mug and skate deck plus extra laces and interchangeable throat pieces.

As of now, an official release date for the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Lo has yet to be revealed. However, it’ll likely arrive at retailers this spring or summer.
