Wood Wood Looks to the Future With FW21 Collection
Presented during Copenhagen Fashion Week.
After a busy few weeks featuring the launch of its Spring/Summer 2021 collection and a collaboration with FILA, Danish label Wood Wood has revealed its Fall/Winter 2021 selection. Unveiled during this season’s virtual Copenhagen Fashion Week, the collection was displayed through a film in collaboration with director Fenar Ahmad titled Rendezvous.
Announcing the collection and film, Wood Wood co-founder and creative director Karl-Oskar Olsen said, “We wanted to present a cinematic universe, reflecting on the now, where uncertainty is overruled by instinct. The concept reflects upon Wood Wood almost twenty years after our founding, and it can be described as the first rendezvous with the future version of Wood Wood.”
The collection itself continues on themes from the SS21 collection, with stand-out features including the use of sophisticated jacquard patterns, wool suiting and oversized silhouettes. Other highlights from the collection see classic items such as varsity jackets and collegiate-inspired sweatshirts reworked by Wood Wood.
Take a look through the lookbook — and accompanying Rendezvous film — above. The full collection will begin arriving at the Wood Wood web store and select stockists later this year.
