RESTIR Drops Collaborative Takashi Murakami Hoodie With Yuzu
Embellished with Murakami’s ‘Smiling Flower’ character.
Tokyo boutique RESTIR returns with a new collaborative drop featuring a special edition hoodie made in partnership between Takashi Murakami and Yuzu — a Japanese pop rock duo formed in 1996 by Yujin Kitagawa and Koji Iwasawa. The Yokohama-Based band is widely-known in Japan for their lush and upbeat sound alongside passionate lyrics. The apparel item is part of an ongoing collaboration between RESTIR and the acclaimed Japanese artist.
The hoodie itself features rubber patches in the front and sleeve portions. Moreover a collaborative tag is on the food that portrays the signature black color of RESTIR. The main graphic on the front portion spotlights Murakami’s signature Smiling Flower character with petals in a vibrant array of colors.
