The 59FIFTY is one of New Era’s most recognizable silhouettes, and Richardson wanted to pay homage to it by teaming up with the cap manufacturer — established nearly a century ago — to produce one as a nod to the home state of both labels. Emblazoned at the front of the cap is Richardson’s glyph logo, complemented by “Richardson” branding stitched onto the back of the cap. Most of the cap comes in “Midnight Blue,” but its under-brim is gray. As a finishing touch, the hat features a small motif of the Statue of Liberty and the number “98,” referencing the year Richardson was established.
Richardson and New Era’s 59FIFTY will be available on February 25, 9 a.m. EST on Richardson’s website — prices have yet to be confirmed.
