As music fans anticipate the return of Bobby Shmurda, videos of the Brooklyn rapper after his release from prison have now surfaced. Shmurda was formally released from the Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate New York and will serve the remainder of his sentence under community supervision.

Making good on his promise to fans, Quavo personally went to pick up Bobby Shmurda in a private jet to take him back to his family after six years behind bars. Speaking to Billboard, the Migos member said, “I’m going to get my guy…I’m personally gonna go pick up Bobby Shmurda. I’m ‘bout to go get him. I’m gonna let him show you how I’m gonna pick him up, yessir. It’s gonna be big.” Rowdy Rebel also took part in the welcome home, presenting the rapper with a generous “little welcome home kit” comprised of stacks of cash.

Earlier this week Bobby Shmurda thanked everyone for their continued support, “Thank you for remaining loyal and for riding this six-year sentence out with me” he said. “I love you all and look forward to seeing you soon.” His mother Leslie Pollard, revealed that his initial plans are to spend time with family before heading back into the studio.
