Reebok Spruces Up the Premier Road Modern With Tonal Silver Presentation
A nod to metallic materials often seen on retro running silhouettes.
There’s no denying that Reebok has started to find its footing when it comes to deliveries of striking lifestyle makeups, and one silhouette that has proven to be a reliable contributor to that fact is the Premier Road Modern. And after releasing in various GR-focused styles as well as a through a collaboration with KANGHYUK, the low-top model has now appeared in a sleek and silver colorway.
The inspiration for these kicks is derived from 2005 — the very year that Reebok launched its Premier Running collection. Of the offerings in that assortment, metallic silver accents were heavily emphasized, and so this modern day installment is a nod to those retro design cues.
Tonal in execution, these Premier Road Moderns immerse its base layer molds and mesh underlays in a silver hue, all of which are applied with a matte finish. Up top, the only contrasting evidence is found atop the laces which are dressed with broken up black lines throughout. To continue the monochromatic theme, the DMX RIDE foam-cushioned sole unit also comes surrounded by grey finishes.
Peep a further look here ahead, and note that these will be launching via Reebok Europe and select retailers like Packer, Bodega and Concepts. Retail price is set for $200 USD.
