Krispy Kreme Japan Celebrates the Minions' Love for Bananas in New Donuts Series
Featuring Bob and his bear Tim.
Krispy Kreme continues its pop-cultural take on donuts with the release of a special Minion-themed dozen. After cleverly crafting a Mars-looking Donut in celebration of NASA’s Perseverance Rover, the company makes use of the lovable yellow creatures for a batch of sweet offerings.
These character-themed donuts see both Bob and his bear Tim featured on a “Banana & Pudding” and “Chocolate & Caramel” donut, respectively. When ordered in Krispy Kreme’s “Dozen Set Minion,” both special flavors will be packaged with the additional donuts: Pudding Chocolate Sprinkles, Chocolate Chocolate, and Original Glazed. Along with the baked sweets, a “Crispy Frozen Banana Milk Minion” smoothie will also be made available. This drink features fresh banana, vanilla syrup, fluffy whipped cream, and chocolate sauce.
Pricing will start at ¥378 JPY ($3.60 USD) per donut, ¥2,160 JPY ($20.50 USD) per dozen, and ¥637 JPY ($6 USD) for the banana smoothie. Head over to Krispy Kreme Japan for more info.
