KEF Taps Industrial Designer Ross Lovegrove For Latest Mu3 Earphones
A true wireless option with Active Noise Cancelling.
British audio expert KEF has now released its Mu3 True Wireless earphones, tapping Welsh artist and industrial designer Ross Lovegrove for the project.
Taking on a sleek, curved silhouette in a silver shade, KEF says the earbuds perform as well as they look, utilizing 8.2mm full-range dynamic drivers to offer detailed audio. Active Noise Cancelling keeps unwanted external sound out of your listening experience, while an Ambient Mode allows you to tune in to your surroundings thanks to playback from built-in microphones. The earphones connect to your various devices through latency-free Bluetooth 5.0 and are also IPX5 splash-proof to brave the harsher weather conditions. As for battery life, the company says a full charge will give you nine hours on the earbuds themselves with an additional 15 hours via the charging case. It can also provide one hour of playtime from just five minutes of quick charging.
For those interested, KEF’s latest True Wireless Mu3 earphones are now available over on the company’s website for $230 USD.
