Summary

Plaud One earbuds merge audio hardware with AI, transcribing conversations and generating tasks.

Features include noise cancellation, 12 mm drivers and a recording case with beamforming microphones.

Retails for around $250 USD, with initial shipments starting in Q4 2026.

The Plaud One marks a significant evolution for the brand, shifting from passive voice recorders to a fully functional “agentic” AI wearable designed for modern professionals. Skipping a screen entirely, the Plaud One Explorer Edition pairs half in-ear buds with a standalone charging case that doubles as an intelligent recording puck.

Built for continuous, on-the-go productivity, the hardware boasts impressive specifications: each 4.5-gram earbud features 12mm dynamic drivers, adaptive active noise cancellation up to 40dB, Bluetooth 5.4, and LDAC codec support, alongside three MEMS microphones and a voice processing unit (VPU). The true standout feature lies within its IP52-rated charging case, which incorporates a 4G LTE eSIM and a four-microphone beamforming array. This standalone cellular connectivity allows the case to capture, automatically upload, and sync in-person meeting audio to the cloud without ever needing a paired smartphone nearby.

Engineered to capture, understand and act on human conversations, the earbuds seamlessly interface with the Plaud Intelligence platform. Utilizing the built-in “Hey Plaud” voice trigger or dedicated Agent button, users can command the Plaud Agent to generate automated workflows based on their recordings — such as drafting follow-up emails, creating workshop reports, or scheduling meetings directly into integrated apps like Gmail, Notion, Slack and Google Calendar.

Offering up to 36 hours of total combined recording time (six hours from the earbuds and 25 hours via the case), the device is optimized for leaders and consultants whose work revolves around daily communication. Available in a sleek white finish, the Plaud One Explorer Edition is priced at just under $250 USD and comes bundled with 300 minutes of monthly transcription alongside $200 in Plaud Credits. Pre-orders for the limited 2,000-unit run have already opened, with initial shipments slated for Q4 2026 ahead of a broader retail launch in 2027.
