The trailer to Season 2 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is finally here. Dubbed “Yukaku-hen,” the new season will be a direct sequel to the anime’s record-setting movie Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train and will be an adaptation of the manga’s “Yukaku” arc.

The trailer is just over a minute-long and offers a few glimpses of new characters appearing in the show. According to an official press release, much of the new season will take place around the Edo-period Yoshiwara district where “the lust and charms of men and women swirl in a storm of love and hate.” Ufotable will be taking on the animation production, while the main cast from the first season will be returning. Without giving away too much, the trailer shows a mysterious new female character who might play a significant role in the upcoming season.
