Universal Pictures has officially announced the delay of Fast & Furious 10.

The tenth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise is also directed by Justin Lin who served as the lead for the final film. While it has not been confirmed who will be in the cast, franchise alums including Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel and Sung Kang are expected to reprise their respective roles for the upcoming films.

The franchise first began in 2001 and has released nine films since then. The previous one, F9: The Fast Saga starred Cardi B, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron and John Cena. Throughout the films, the plots have continuously been based on Gary Scott Thompson’s characters and have travelled across the globe from London to Tokyo to Central America and even to the streets of Tbilisi.

Fast & Furious 10 was originally supposed to release on April 7, 2023 but has now been delayed to May 19, 2023.

In other entertainment news, Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent are producing a new drama series titled Murder Was the Case.
