Paradigm Partners with adidas Skateboarding for a Sustainable Footwear and Apparel Collection
The six-piece collection features a stealthy Gazelle colorway, eco-friendly jackets and more.
Aside from the frenzies of colorways that Kanye West and adidas are producing, the Three Stripes Originals category has also grown its catalog with a barrage of new colorways this season. And in terms of collaborations, its portfolio is slated to increase by one project with NYC-based publishing company Paradigm and its founder Theo Constantinou. This latest footwear and apparel range hones in on the concept of sustainability and was inspired by the book “Uninhabitable Earth – Life After Warming” by David Wallace-Wells.
One stealthy take atop the adidas Gazelle is included in this product assortment. Uppers are forged with a stark black synthetic and features a recycled compound for its rubber foxing and a sole unit that is made of 10% recycled rubber. The kicks usher in bold purple accents atop the branding on the tongues, lateral heels and on the entire treading. Moreover, Paradigm’s mission statement is printed on the the back of the tongue labels.
In terms of apparel offerings, Constantinou has prepared a full Paradigm tracksuit, a Paradigm Tech Shell, a soccer-inspired jersey and a tote bag.
“I’m excited to partner with adidas Skateboarding to bring this important project on sustainability to life,” says Paradigm founder Theo Constantinou. “My hope through this collaboration is to inspire and encourage others to make tangible lifestyle changes to help solve the impact of climate change.”
This Paradigm x adidas Skateboarding collection officially launches on December 17 via adidas. Prices will range from $45-$200 USD.
