Netflix Drops Official Trailer for 'Tiger King' Spinoff 'The Doc Antle Story'

Netflix on Friday dropped a new trailer for its upcoming Tiger King spinoff series The Doc Antle Story.
The series will feature witnesses who share their own experiences with the private zoo manager, who was charged with wildlife trafficking and animal cruelty after an investigation led by Attorney General Mark R. Herring of Virginia last year.
“A lifelong showman, Doc Antle has built his various careers on theatrics, attracting a slew of admirers along the way,” Netflix says about the upcoming series. “But beneath the eccentric, animal-loving facade lies a predator far more dangerous than his beloved big cats and a man shadier than any of his Tiger King counterparts. Over three episodes, Tiger King: The Doc Antle Story unpacks the truth about Doc, as witnesses come forward to share their troubling stories of abuse and intimidation that set him at the top of the food chain.”
Antle, who was largely featured in the original Tiger King, was formally charged in October of last year with felony counts of wildlife trafficking and conspiracy to wildlife traffic. The zoo operator also received four misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty.
The Doc Antle Story hits Netflix on December 10. Watch the trailer above.
