British Watchmaker Farer Drops Cobb Monopusher Chronograph
Pairing an icy blue dial with a pulsometer scale.
British watch brand Farer has added a second automatic monopusher chronograph to its collection.
The Cobb is presented with an icy blue dial, warmed up with yellow, orange and off-white details. Twin sub dials display 30-minute chronograph minutes at the three o’clock position while running seconds sit at the nine o’clock.
The Arabic numeral hour markers are formed of solid cast Super-LumiNova and infilled with an ink blue shade to produce an outline effect.
Farer has paired the chronograph with a pulsometer scale running around the rehaut, which can be used to measure heart rates, while the flanks of the Cobb’s 40.5mm stainless steel case are decorated with what Farer calls a “harlequin” finish to draw attention to the curve of the case.
The watch is powered by Sellita’s SW510 MP Elaboré movement, a purpose-built automatic monopusher with a 62-hour power reserve fitted with Farer’s turbine winding rotor in navy blue with orange lettering.
The Cobb Monopusher Chronograph is available now from Farer, priced $1,995 USD.
