Benjamin Edgar’s Exclusive 12345 Colorways Reshape Familiarity
With “Things The Mind Already Knows…”
Fresh off his Miami Art Basel presentation of reimagined Rimowa luggage pieces, venture capitalist and Boxed Water founder Benjamin Edgar shares a new range of merch for his 12345 line.
Established in 2009 and touted as “an object company,” Edgar’s latest drop includes exclusive colorways that he says are, “confusingly familiar,” but not yet seen before, “an abstraction of an abstraction.” New hooded sweatshirts in blue and black are logo-laden with a front-to-back 12345 white insignia, the “cube & hand” T-shirt is white with a digitized violet graphic, and the classic 12345 tee is presented in a short-sleeve black colorway; each making a great pairing with the brand’s buzzworthy “500 Jeans.”
As a 2018 HYPETALKS alum, Edgar previously dropped a few gems on becoming familiar with one’s goals and achieving success, asking the question, “How bad do you want whatever you’re working on to work?!” Further back in September 2020, Edgar released a collaborative boot with upstart footwear brand Season Three and spoke about the release through an exclusive interview with HYPEBEAST.
