Air Jordan 13 Receives the Classic "Court Purple" Treatment
Heavy Mike Bibby PE vibes here.

Jordan Brand will often take some of its more popular color schemes and allow them to bounce around its many signature silhouettes. For example, the “Court Purple” treatment popped up on the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG earlier this year, and now it will be making its way onto the Air Jordan 13 in 2022. First revealed by the Beaverton-headquartered company back in November, the kicks have finally emerged via official images.
Unlike the aforementioned AJ 1 High, this forthcoming installment opts for a much darker-toned approach. Most of the upper layer on these kicks is swathed in a solid black hue including the tumbled leather toe boxes, pockmarked mesh overlays, tongues, interior lining and the shoe laces. Its titular shade then follows suit as it engulfs the buttery suede heel panels, midsole pieces and the Jumpman markings on the tongues and footbeds which is reminiscent of the “Away” Air Jordan 13 PEs that former NBA point guard and Jordan brand signee Mike Bibby would often rock on the hardwood. As usual, a panther’s eye-inspired holographic badge is nestled inside the collars and arrives with its usual slime green tint. Rounding off this makeup is a three-toned outsole that features black borders, white chevron-patterned treading and a black and white Jumpman emblem that is positioned towards the lateral mid-foot.
If interested in copping, you can find these dropping via SNKRS and other retailers come January 8 for $190 USD.
