The season of giving is gradually winding down to a close and many across the globe will happily participate in the celebrations of Christmas this weekend. And for those who are either looking for a last minute gift to slide under the tree or simply want to add more kicks to their wardrobe, you’re in luck because your favorite sportswear brands are dropping some notable sneakers over the next seven days. We’re going to see Nike, Jordan Brand and adidas proffer up fresh collaborations and new GRs, but before we break those down, let’s dive back into last week’s action.

Business as usual trucked along for HYPEBEAST’s exclusive Sole Mates series as we had the opportunity to chat with Emeric Tchatchoua — the founder and creative director of 3.PARADIS — about his affinity for the colette x Busy P x Nike Air Force 1 Low. Some major news sprung up from the Nike family as it announced its extended participation into the metaverse as it acquired NFT Site RTFKT. In terms of new unveilings, the Swoosh took the liberty of previewing the Nike Dunk Low Next Nature in “University Red,” a velcro-strapped-focused Nike Air Force 1 High collaboration with Billie Eilish, a teaser of the Union x Nike Cortez and COMME des GARÇONS’ Nike Premier Heels. Jordan Brand made sure to get its fair share of news in as well as it showed off the upcoming Air Jordan 3 “Cardinal Red,” and Air Jordan 1 Low “Marina Blue” colorway for the ladies and the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Stage Haze.”

The Three Stripes also made some metaverse-related noise last week as it announced its latest NFT collection with exclusive drops and access. From a product standpoint, the German sportswear giant also provided a first look at the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Cotton White,” confirmed the return of Kobe Bryant’s 1997 Dunk Contest sneakers and revealed the Y-3 AJATU collection.

Elsewhere in the footwear realm, OVO and Suicoke dropped a collaborative — and very cozy — Zavo Sandals and M2AB Mid Boot capsule, WACKO MARIA and nonnative linked with Converse for an All Star 100 Hi collab and size? teased a New Balance 550 “Cordura Pack.”

Now that you’re all updated with the latest in footwear, let’s dive into this week’s top 10 releases. And when you’ve wrapped up with those, be sure to browse the HBX site for new footwear styles.
