The FW21 Collection from Vallier is All-Weather Apparel for Better Urban Living
Designed in Montreal, Vallier fuses the innovations of outdoor technical clothing with everyday urban essentials.

Apparel brand Vallier has released its Fall/Winter 21/22 collection of classic pieces that are designed to withstand cold winter weather. To create its highly functional clothing with sleek aesthetics, Vallier fuses innovations of outdoor technical clothing with styling that reflects everyday essentials. Each element exists with purpose, resulting in aesthetics without unnecessary components. Offering a wide array of women’s, men’s and unisex all-weather apparel, the label is on a mission to provide pieces for better urban living.
The FW21/22 collection pulls inspiration from elements that exist in real life, such as cold Canadian weather, Scandinavian countries, mid-century design and fall nighttime lighting. Featuring a strong minimalist aesthetic, each of Vallier’s pieces is meant to become a lifetime staple in the wearer’s wardrobe. The complete collection includes apparel, parkas and accessories, with styles made from recycled fabrics like the Ladner Light Insulated Jacket, Toolo Parka, Eira Long Parka and Kamakura Wool Shirt. Designed with an oversized fit, the Kamakura Shirt is one of four unisex styles that’s suitable for winter weather. Styles like the Ladner, Kamakura, and other pieces made from merino wool are hybrid options that are comfortable for indoor or outdoor wear.
Apart from sourcing premium materials such as traceable merino wool, Pertex, and Polartec, Vallier is also making a conscious effort to double the amount of made-in-Canada styles compared to FW20. On the brand’s Pertex products, the durable water repellant are also free of any per- and poly-fluorinated chemicals. The collection’s new beanies and scarves as well as its Mayfair Wool Coat and Chelsea Wool Coat are all made domestically. Other sustainable initiatives from Vallier include checking for certifications such as OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Responsible Wool Standard, Responsible Down Standard, and more when sourcing materials, making for an all-around thoughtful selection of winter wear.
Continuing the brand’s dedication to conscious material choices, Vallier also has a collaboration with Apprenti Ôr’ganik. The co-branded Hand and Body Wash, Body Lotion and Candle include notes of cardamon, cedarwood and cedarleaf that bring the scents of the outdoors into your home. Other brand collaborations that Vallier is launching this season include stylish forest green Nalgene water bottles and a Leatherman Squirt PS4 mini-tool, which contains pliers, scissors and a pocketful of other features.
Offering more than a post-pandemic wardrobe, Vallier is creating timeless and comfortable pieces that can withstand cold weather conditions. To shop winter staples and its latest collaborations, head to the brand’s website or follow them on Instagram at @vallier_official.
