Chicagoans Simon and Kareme are returning with more shenanigans in the new trailer for season two of South Side. Out next week on Thursday, November 11, the preview for the next installment of the series promises more adventures from the iconic duo, including some interesting side hustles.

The TV show first debuted on Comedy Central in 2019 but will be moving to HBO Max for the upcoming season. Like the previous one, this coming season was filmed in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago.

Sultan Salahuddin, who plays Simon, and Kareme, portrayed by Kareme Young, will once again co-star as best friends that recently graduated from community college and work together at a rent-to-own business. Bashir Salahuddin and Chandra Russell, who depict a pair of Chicago city police officers, will also make their return in season two, in addition to Quincy Young, Zuri Salahuddin and Diallo Riddle.

Salahuddin and Riddle double as the creators of the show, and Salahuddin has cited growing up on the South Side of the city as his inspiration.

Season two will feature appearances from guest stars including Lil Rel Howery, Chance the Rapper, Deon Cole, Dreezy, Rhymefest and more.
