With just a couple of days left until its long-awaited release date, Nintendo has now released a new trailer for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, offering fans of the beloved franchise an overview of the Switch remake’s gameplay.

While Nintendo calls the game a remake, the new titles will also be receiving a host of new content as well as integration with other Pokémon games on the Switch. Those who own either Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Let’s Go, Eevee! will automatically receive a Mew in Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl, while those who have previously played Pokémon Sword and Shield will be getting Jirachi. If you pre-order or purchase the game before February 21, 2022, you’ll also receive a Manaphy egg as part of an early-purchase bonus from the developers.

Freebies aside, the Underground will now be upgraded to the Grand Underground, featuring an all-new mechanism known as Pokémon HideawaysPokémon in these special locations will roam around the area freely, and which Pokémon makes an appearance will depend on the statues you place in your secret base. There’ll also be a new area in the game called Ramanas Park, where you’ll find a range of legendary Pokémon such as Ho-oh, Lugia, Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Rayquaza.

Arriving November 19 for the Switch, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are now available for pre-order over on Nintendo’s website, with the double pack going for $120 USD.

Elsewhere in gaming, Marvel’s Avengers is finally introducing Spider-Man to the game.
