Check Out the Concept Art for Netflix’s Live-Action 'Gundam' Film
The RX-78-2 like you’ve never seen before.
Following early word, we now have a first look at Netflix’s live-action Gundam film set to release in the near future. The concept art for the Sunrise Origin Studio and Legendary Pictures joint release was revealed during the recent Netflix Festival Japan 2021 event.
Reportedly in development for years now, the streaming platform acquire the worldwide rights for the live-action adaptation of the wildly popular franchise earlier this year.
From the initial announcement, we currently know that Metal Gear Solid live-action director Jordan Vogt-Roberts will be overseeing direction from the film with comic book author Brian K. Vaughan executive producing and writing the script. Makoto Asanuma, Managing Director of Bandai Namco Entertainment, will also be serving as an executive producer on the project.
