Porter x G-SHOCK Set to Revisit Brand's First Analogue-Digital Watch
The Japanese luggage label has created a custom carry case too.

G-SHOCK has collaborated with Japanese luggage and accessories maker, Porter, on a new version of its original digital-analogue watch, the AWM-500.
The full black DLC stainless steel AWM-500GC-1AJR will be supplied with a bespoke nylon fabric Porter carry case that features the same shock-resistant graph that appeared on the dials of early G-SHOCKs printed on leather, while its zip pulls replicate the watch’s distinctive hands.
The design takes its cues from the 90’s favorite, the AW-500G-1E, and its quartz movement uses solar-powered, radio-controlled timekeeping.
The limited edition is set to drop in March next year via Yoshida Kaban and Porter stores in Tokyo and Osaka, priced 143,000 yen ($1,258 USD).
