For this week’s Essentials installment, we speak to curator Justin Reed who runs an exclusive consignment shop under his namesake. Reed famously acquired Kanye’s one-of-one Goyard “Robot Face” backpack which sold for $55,000 USD and a DONDA Bulletproof Vest worn during Ye’s second listening party.
The Justin Reed e-commerce site consists of a selection of art, clothing, and accessories focused on limited edition collaborations and exceptional vintage items. The store exclusively holds rare grail pieces, currently offering furniture such as the Rick Owens Stag T chair made with a natural moose antler, archive pieces including the Undercover SS09 “Neoboy” M65 Military Jacket, art pieces highlighted by Michael Kagan’s Cernan ASTRONAUT Figure Set, a vast selection of rare Chrome Hearts pieces such as the Robert Mapplethorpe Leather Moto Jacket, and footwear including the CoCo Chanel Pharrell Time Capsule Sneakers.
