Warner Bros. Games has now released the latest story trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, offering gamers a new look at what’s to come for the highly-anticipated title.

Developed by the Batman: Arkham series’ creator Rocksteady, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an upcoming action-adventure shooter placing players in the roles of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark as the four criminal misfits are recruited into Task Force X, also known as the Suicide Squad. As Metropolis goes under siege by Brainiac, everyone in the city becomes brainwashed by his powers, including the Justice League themselves. With no one left to defend humanity, it’s up to the team of Arkham Asylum inmates to stop him and his mind-controlled subjects.

There’s currently no precise release date for the game, but Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is expected to arrive sometime in 2022 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Head over to the game’s website to learn more.

In other related news, Gotham Knights has also released a new story trailer unveiling the Court of Owls.
