Rui Hachimura Receives Three-Pack of Air Jordan 35 "Team Colors" PEs
Inspired by the red, blue and white uniforms of the Washington Wizards.

Though his Washington Wizards are having a rough start to the 2020-21 NBA season, sophomore forward Rui Hachimura is in the middle of a solid second campaign — and now he’ll be taking the court in some new Jordan Brand PEs, namely a three-pack of Air Jordan 35s dubbed “Team Colors”. During his rookie campaign, Hachimura played in Air Jordan 34 PEs inspired by his family and Japanese heritage, but the “Team Colors” looks instead to the red, blue and white hues of his Wizards.
The first pair mixes a navy throat, collar and tongue with a white mudguard and toebox. Midfoot Flightwire is done up in red as well, with the entire assemblage sitting atop a blue/white midsole with a red Eclipse Plate 2.0 and a gum outsole. The second style is the most colorful of the bunch, dressed mostly in a bright infrared shade with navy detailing on the throat and collar plus a special tongue badge. A gray Eclipse Plate 2.0, two-tone midsoles and red outsoles finish the look. Lastly, a white and gray pair is interspersed with red accents on the toebox, tongue and throat plus an ombre fade on the Eclipse Plate 2.0 and a white midsole/outsole combo.
“I move a lot, so I need my performance shoe to be comfortable and light,” says Hachimura, who’s the latest Jumpman athlete to receive AJ35 PEs, joining Zion Williamson, Luka Dončić, Jayson Tatum and Carmelo Anthony. “Having Air Jordan 34 PEs in my first year was big for me, and now I’m excited about [wearing] the Air Jordan 35.”
None of these styles will release as they were designed exclusively for Hachimura, but you can catch him wearing them on-court alongside teammate and fellow Jordan Brand family member Russell Westbrook.
