Nike SB has looked into the archives for its latest Zoom Blazer Mid Edge sneaker, serving it in “White/Viotech.” The purple hue takes its name from a number of highly sought-after Nike shoes from the past, most notably its early-2000s Co.Jp Dunk era that produced the multicolored “Viotech” pair that recently had a revival and also found its colors on an Air Max 90.

Now, the Swoosh has added one of the famed tones to its deconstructed DIY-esque Blazer. Premium tumbled white leather is intersected with off white suede used for the lateral-side front-quarter eyestay placket and guard, while “Viotech” suede hits not just the large Swoosh logo on the medial side, but also the Swoosh-shaped panel on the toe and vamp, the unstitched and puckered Swoosh on the lateral, as well as branding on the tongue and the embroidery on the heel.

Contrasting the clean and classic look is a secondary tongue finished in a golden yellow tone, extending way past the collar and therefore nodding to the styles of retro skateboarding sneakers. The same exposed foam can be seen between the laces, giving a hint at the comfort and cushioning that awaits your foot.

Nike SB is due to release the Zoom Blazer Mid Edge in “White/Viotech” on January 25 for €99.99 EUR (approx. $121 USD). Take a closer look at the pair above, and head over to Nike’s website for more information.
