Dr. Dre Shares Update on Condition After Suffering Brain Aneurysm (UPDATE)
The cause of the aneurysm is yet to be revealed.
UPDATE: Dr. Dre took to Instagram to share a quick update on his condition, claiming that he’s “doing great” and should be released from the hospital soon:
“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
ORIGINAL STORY (6 January 2021): Dr. Dre is reportedly in intensive care after suffering a brain aneurysm.
According to sources, the music legend was rushed to the ICU of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on January 4, and is still there as of January 5. Dre is “stable and lucid,” however doctors are still figuring out the cause of the aneurysm and are currently running tests.
Although his camp is yet to make an official announcement, several of his colleagues in the industry are already sending their well wishes, including Dre’s friend and N.W.A. mate Ice Cube, Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson, Jr., Snoop Dogg and Juicy J.
