Stussy Turns to Lightly Subdued Tones for Fall 2020
Nuanced earth tones and finely polished cuts inform the lineup.
Stussy‘s Fall 2020 collection is an eclectic series of lightly nuanced palettes, bringing a sense of refinement to time-honored streetwear staples. Following its Summer 2020 lineup, the new assemblage, this time, is packed with a lot more layers and texture.
Spanning corduroy button-down shirts, striped cardigans, vintage-esque rugby shirts, chore coats, mohair knitwear, fleece zip-ups, lightly brushed flannels and graphic T-shirts, to mention a few, the collection is dominated by light washes and faded earth tones that emphasize the polished cuts of each piece. One noteworthy garment is a double-breasted trench coat with a rich monochromatic tie-dye. Another highlight is a mohair sweater with a bold intarsia graphic of the label’s signature eight-ball motif. Other pieces like striped long-sleeves, a patchwork coach jacket, an indigo short-sleeve button-up and a checkered wool zip-up hoodie round off the subtle, yet well-considered designs.
Stussy’s Fall 2020 collection will be available on the label’s website on September 4, 1 p.m. EDT — prices have yet to be confirmed.
