Japanese Folklore, 'Bomberman' and 'Winning Eleven' Inspire PEACE AND AFTER's Latest Release
Along with a CASETiFY collaboration.
Shortly after delivering a Super Mario and Final Fight 2-inspired release, PEACE AND AFTER has returned with more Retro Game Parody T-Shirts. This time around, the fledgling Japanese label reimagined its brand name with the logos of beloved titles Bomberman and Winning Eleven.
Continuing the retro gaming theme, PEACE AND AFTER has also put together an 8-bit graphic design T-shirt centered around Amabie. Amabie is a mystical, mermaid-like being believed to ward off plagues and has risen back to popularity thanks to the #AMABIEchallenge on Twitter started by Japanese users. Known as an auspicious yokai, the supernatural spirit Japanese folklore has been used to spread hope during the Coronavirus pandemic. Each T-shirt comes complete with an elongated patch sewn with subtle branding at the bottom.
PEACE AND AFTER also recently launched its collaboration with CASETiFY. Coming in Apple iPhone 11 and 11 Pro sizes, the Impact and Mirror cases are contrast marked with PEACE AND AFTER bamboo themed logo.
