NEIGHBORHOOD's SRL and Dr. Romanelli Unveil Deconstructed "Remake" Capsule
Featuring reconstructed furniture and apparel.
NEIGHBORHOOD‘s Specimen Research Laboratory and Dr. Romanelli have teamed up for a bold capsule of deconstructed furniture and apparel. This follows Dr. Romanelli’s collaboration with LN-CC on their eco-friendly project.
The capsule encompasses a small one-seater couch, a chair, a set of T-shirts, sweaters and jackets, made from a contrasting mix of recycled fabrics from NEIGHBORHOOD. The couch, with its quilted construction and boxy silhouette, is fashioned with a patchwork of rich camo patterns, graphics and logos. “Specimen Research Laboratory” branding is stamped throughout the sofa, complemented by details like silver-toned hardware and pockets taken from upcycled garments. While the couch is padded all around, the chair is supported by a base that’s entirely wooden. Its cushioned seat comes with dark cloths that boldly contrast the chair’s light brown foundation: back support, armrests, spindles and square legs. Rounding up the capsule is a set of reconstructed T-shirts, alongside tie-dyed tees with Rick Griffin graphics, sweaters and field jackets.
Dr. Romanelli and Specimen Research Laboratory’s “Remake” capsule is exclusively available on GR8’s website as well as its physical retail space in Japan.
