Kanye West took to Twitter on Saturday declaring himself the “head of adidas.” In the tweet, West went on to divulge his plans to attempt to bring adidas and Puma closer together — based off the two footwear giant’s long history of heated competition.

The tweet was brief but Ye managed to insult Puma with “all pumas designs are embarrassingly trash but I will personally design puma and adidas and make everything ok.” This news comes shortly after a string of tweets from the artist involving his opinions and feelings towards the music industry.

So far, adidas nor Puma have responded to the claims. For more footwear news, HOKA ONE ONE adds the TenNine’s unorthodox heel on the Hike GTX.
