Hyundai has just unveiled its new 2022 Tucson SUV, and the end result is quite promising. Available in both a short or long-wheelbase option, this fourth-gen compact SUV carries on the lineage of one of the most popular vehicles in the U.S. — seeing a 290-percent sales growth since its last redesign in 2015.
This new redesign sees a boost on the styling side of things and in the technology department, boasting an exterior that rivals that of premium European brands. Sharp lines flow from the jewel grille to the sporty rear, while the interior receives a vast infotainment upgrade in the form of a ten-inch screen and LED lighting.
The 2022 Tucson is also no slouch on the performance side, boasting a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts down 178 horsepower. There’s also a turbo-charged hybrid 1.6-liter version that churns out 229 horsepower. Look for the official pricing and launch date later this month. Head over to Hyundai for the full run-down.
