With its finances continuing to be adversely affected by the ongoing coronavirus, British supercar maker McLaren is looking for new ways to generate income, and its latest idea will give a McLaren fans a chance to own its global headquarters in Woking, but there’s a catch — the new owner will be contractually obligated to lease the facility back to the automaker.

The new sale has been commissioned by McLaren for Canadian real estate firm Colliers, which is now looking to sell its Woking headquarters for £200 million GBP, or $256 million USD, which as Autoblog points out is roughly 13 times as much as a 1994 F1 LM-Specification. The center is located an hour outside of London and spans across the McLaren Technology Center, the McLaren Production Center, and the McLaren Thought Leadership Center. It also includes a man-made lake, plenty of parking lots, and acre after acre of open field. Unfortunately for those who are interested in acquiring the automaker’s headquarters, specific details regarding the leasing agreement have not been made public, including how much it pays per month or how long you’ll have to lease the land to McLaren.

Elsewhere in the automotive world, Living Vehicle has built a $230,000 USD premium mobile home.
