Rich Brian Delivers Melodic New Cut "Don't Care"
Set to appear in his upcoming project ‘1999.’
Rich Brian has shared a brand new single entitled “Don’t Care,” released alongside the announcement of his upcoming project 1999.
The vulnerable cut hears the 88rising staple detail the everyday pressures he faces, shrugging them off as the music video shows him wandering around the Zuma Ridge Trail. Switching gears between rapping and singing, Brian personifies the song’s message and shows off his stronger vocal ability, while the visual’s mountainous backdrop reflects his never-ending quest of people-pleasing and the blissful, quiet moments of simply not caring.
“This song is about me trying to make so many people around me happy and caring about everybody’s feelings while completely disregarding my own, and the rare moments of me not caring about anything for a second,” he said in a statement.
