Producer Adam Snow Premieres New Track "Sunshine"
Featuring rising rappers Josh Alias and Tedy Andreas.
Washington D.C. born, Los Angeles-based producer Adam Snow premieres his latest track “Sunshine” from his upcoming collaborative album with rising New York City rapper Josh Alias titled A PLACE IN THE SUN. The emotional single features a guest appearance by Houston emcee Tedy Andreas, too.
Snow has been dropping off a solid stream of singles throughout the year leading up to his new solo full-length project AS LUCK WOULD HAVE IT. He’s tapped Freddie Gibbs for two tracks — first “9 to 5,” an homage to golden era 90s west coast hip-hop production with a feature by Andreas — and then “42,” a sonic offering dripped in chipmunk soul with a verse from Alias.
For “Sunshine,” the two rappers join for a cohesive track flexing some seriously chemistry. Alias adds melody to the chorus duties while his verse centers around slowing down, dwelling on his past and trying to gain some clarity through the haze of it all. Andreas balances the weight of street life and snakes lurking in the shadows with his efforts to continue to grow as a person and artist. The instrumentation is as solid as ever too. Snow injects clean electric guitar riffs in the backdrop with hi-hats for some forward motion. “Sunshine” is the perfect way to introduce listeners to the producer’s full-length collaboration with Alias due out later this year.
