First debuting in January at Paris Couture Week, Maison Margiela and Reebok‘s wild Tabi/Instapump Fury hybrid silhouette is now available for pre-order in an all-black colorway. Constructed of shimmering patent leather and covered in a luxurious croc print, it’s part athletic shoe, part high-end boot and part luxurious handbag — a jarring juxtaposition of in-your-face styles that somehow comes together perfectly.

Uppers are composed of two main pieces. First up is the aforementioned patent croc-print base, a standard boot silhouette with a signature Margiela split Tabi toe. Above this is the Instapump Fury’s iconic cut-out midfoot cage, heel clip and two-button Pump fit system, built of smooth patent leather for a tonal contrast. The Pump system also provides the shoe’s only deviation from its all-black build with a small hit of white branding. Down below, chunky boot midsoles and toothed outsoles round off the look. Apart from this boot-like makeup, the Tabi x Instapump is also set to release in even more vivid high-heeled iterations.

The Maison Margiela x Reebok Tabi Instapump Fury Ankle Boot is available for pre-order now from MACHINE-A, and is priced at $1,055 USD.
