Chanel Unveils Luxe Apple AirPods Cases Inspired by Iconic Handbags for FW20
There’s never been a more luxurious way to carry your AirPods.
Luxury French fashion house Chanel, which is most famously known for its variety of handbags, has entered the world of tech accessories this Fall/Winter 2020, revealing two Apple AirPods cases.
First is the quilt-stitched black leather version that draws influence from the house’s iconic Classic Double Flap bag. Not only is it offered in the signature shade of Chanel black, but its quilt pattern and leather rope handle is a direct miniature of the aforementioned bag. The rope handle is weaved through small gold-toned loops and it is attached to two clips, perfect for hanging from your key chain or self.
Rounding out the look is the legendary “CC” logo in gold, gracing the front of the AirPods case just like the handbag. Joining this is the hot pink tweed version — a material that’s often overlooked by many, but is in fact frequently used throughout the Chanel archive and has made for a number of very iconic pieces.
A gold “CC” logo sitting on a leather pull tab appears on the front, while this time the case comes with a much shorter pink leather and gold-toned rope. Once more, it is attached to a clip that can hang from various items.
Chanel is releasing these luxe Apple AirPods cases next month at its boutiques worldwide as part of its wider FW20 collection. Take a closer look at both above.
