size? and adidas Originals Reveal Shanghai-Inspired City Series Release
Recalling 2010’s London-themed sneaker.
size? and adidas Originals have continued the relaunched “Anniversary City Series” with the release of the new Shanghai-themed sneaker. Similarly to the recent Liverpool and Cordoba releases, the new City Series takes a sneaker from the two brand’s original City Series in 2010 and reference’s its twin city.
The Shanghai sneaker is a nod to 2010’s London release, featuring the same tooling, design lines and materials as the earlier silhouette. The new colorway features a deep navy blue across the suede base, while orange and purple on the leather overlays reference Shanghai’s neon skyline reflecting off the water. Finishing off the design is gold detailing on the sidewalls, lace tips and the 1/2020 mark on the heel.
The latest “Anniversary City Series” comes in a box that recalls the earlier pack through London-inspired detailing on the box’s interior, while the sneaker also features a Shanghai city guide from size?. The size? x adidas Originals “Anniversary City Series” Shanghai-themed sneaker is due to release size?’s Carnaby Street store on September 4 before arriving at all other size? stores and through its launches app on September 11.
