Y-3 Mixes Technical Details With Premium Materials for Shiku Run Sneaker
Releasing in three colorways.
Y-3 has returned with another new sneaker from its Fall/Winter 2020 selection. Dubbed the Y-3 Shiku Run, the sneaker features a range of technical elements, including a construction of double-layer mesh, which is offset by more traditional details such as suede and leather.
The sneaker’s semi-translucent mesh upper partially obstructs the Three Stripe branding, while panels of suede and leather give the upper a premium aesthetic. Other features include a cord system that runs around the sneaker, linking up with the lacing system on either side, as well as an exaggerated heel pull tab and a rubber tread for grip.

Y-3’s Shiku Run is set to release in three colorways, with a classic black option releasing alongside a white design which features off-white suede details and hits of bright red. A third colorway, which features bold “Signal Cyan” and light blue detailing, is due to release at a later date.
The black and white Y-3 Shiku Run colorways will release at select stockists including Aphrodite on August 25. Keep an eye out for the “Signal Cyan” option to hit the adidas web store in the near future.
