adidas' FYW XTA "Sand/Sub Green" Is Perfect for Hitting the Hike
EQT tech packaged in a retro design.

Earlier this year adidas Consortium released the FYW XTA, and now adidas has unveiled its core-line version in a hiking-ready shade of “Sand/Sub Green.”
The trail sneaker features many retro design elements, such as the EQT logo that appears in green on the webbing eyestays, the “Freddy” logo that shows up on the midsole, and the chunky rear heel component that’s finished with grippy bobbles and raised adidas branding.
Elsewhere, adidas has combined smooth “Sand” nubuck with breathable mesh, and has added more breathability thanks to a cluster of perforations on the toe and a cut-out on the mesh tongue’s overlaying panel. A technical rope lacing system weaves up the shoe, leading up to sections of “Sub Green” around the collar and towards the heel.
Rounding out the pair is its classicly bulky and super-grippy outsole, which makes it perfect for tackling tough terrains in various conditions. Take a look at the adidas FYW XTA “Sand/Sub Green” in the gallery above, and pick up a pair now from retailers such as Fenom for €149 EUR (approx. $176 USD).
In other news, Palace and Salomon have teamed up again, this time around delivering three XA COMP ADV sneakers.
