Following his recent collaborative release with Gorillaz, London-based Octavian has shared the first track from his forthcoming debut album, featuring the American rapper Future.

This release — entitled “Rari (Chapter 1)” — is set to be the opener from his upcoming album and will be the first of three musical Chapters on the record that showcases the rapper’s diverse sound. Merging his rap sound with more indie notes, “Rari (Chapter 1)” tells the story of companionship and looking to the brighter days ahead, and is an introduction to a more emotionally expansive expression of himself.

His album is a culmination of years of progress, from two acclaimed mixtapes and multiple awards, to collaborations with the likes of Mura Masa, A$AP Ferg and even Skepta, who is the executive producer on this debut album.

You can listen to “Rari (Chapter 1)” via the Spotify link below.

In other news, Marilyn Manson has joined A$AP Ferg in the studio for a potential collaboration.
