The Latest Trailer for Netflix's 'The Old Guard' Shows Immortal Mercs Being Hunted Down

Netflix released the final trailer for its upcoming film The Old Guard starring Charlize Theron which is also based on a comic book of the same name by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez. The film, directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love & Basketball), focuses on a “covert group of tight-knit mercenaries with a mysterious inability to die” led by Charlize Theron.
The trailer above begins focusing on the newest member of the undead legion (KiKi Layne), and her unwillingness to live the life of someone unable to die. With the help of Andy (Theron), Nile (Layne) is brought into the Old Guard to defend the world, as they’ve done for centuries. However, during an emergency mission, their abilities are exposed to the public. As such, a clandestine group of people gathers to hunt them down to replicate and monetize their power.
Marwan Kenzari, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Luca Marinelli star as the rest of Andy’s undead army, with Chiwetel Ejiofor and Harry Melling playing those that are pursuing them.
The Old Guard debuts on Netflix on July 10.
