Lil Tecca Plays Cupid in Dreamy "Out of Love" Music Video
After teasing a new joint project with Internet Money.
Back in April, Lil Tecca announced his newest joint project with Internet Money titled Do They Really Love You. Yesterday, the multiplatinum 17-year-old rapper dropped the music video for the project’s lead single, “Out of Love,” featuring production from Internet Money’s Taz Taylor, Nick Mira and more. On the two-and-a-half-minute track, Lil Tecca raps about the lack of love in the world, targeting clout-chasers and those who have flocked to his side ever since he became famous.
Produced by ATLAS Productions and directed by Omar Jones, the music video captures the importance of love and genuine friendships. As his fans crush on him from their bedrooms — decorated with posters of their celebrity crushes — Lil Tecca spreads the love around his neighborhood. Digitized red hearts drop from the sky and fall onto the neon purple-hued trees. “Everybody want the same thing/New chain, new car, and the same ring,” he raps. “I just wanna make money with the same gang/New glass, new frame, but the same lane.”
