Gucci Enlivens Signature Red and Green Stripes Over New Sandals

Gucci has unveiled a brand new footwear piece from its seasonal lineup. Following its GG Monogram slides, the Italian luxury house has opted to embolden its signature red and green stripes over a pair of sandals this time around.
The sandals come with overlapping uppers constructed in thick rubber. The topmost layer curves inward from the lateral side to the medial, while the bottom strap mirrors the top in the opposite direction. Green rubber stripes frame a central red band, contrasted against a sleek black footbed that’s debossed with “GUCCI” branding. Finishing off the footwear piece is thin treading that curves slightly up the edges of the sole for optimal traction on uneven terrain.
Gucci’s red and green-striped sandals are currently available on 24S’ website for $320 USD.
