Take a Look at Travis Scott's New $23.5M USD Mansion
Inspired by the lines of “a modern yacht.”
According to reports, Travis Scott recently dropped $23.5 million USD on a massive mansion in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Designed and built by De Loren & Associates, the 16,700 sq. ft. home sits on a hilltop and features panoramic views of the entire city. The seven-bedroom and 11 bathroom house features three floors of ultra-contemporary living that match the unique design architecture. Created to evoke the lines of “a modern yacht,” the exterior of the house is wrapped in a smooth and curvaceous sheet metal facade.
Set at the end of a semi-remote cul-de-sac, Travis’ new home is completely sequestered as it is built below street level with a driveway set on the roof. Aside from parking for more than a dozen vehicles, there is also a 20-car “auto gallery” style garage.
An interesting part of the home inside the glass front door is a floor-to-ceiling walnut sculpture designed by master Japanese carpenter Toshi Kawabata and a 12-foot “green wall” that serves as a natural air purifier. Past the artful set up is a great room with a bar, fireplace, seating area and dining areas with a joined kitchen outfitted with black marble and custom Gaggenau appliances.
The penthouse floor of the home features two junior master suites and an owner’s suite with dual closets, spa-style bath and expansive balcony.
Entertainment elements of the house include a devoted recreation and entertainment area with a gym, sauna, 15-seat theater, wet bar area with a temperature-controlled 650 bottle wine closet, outdoor kitchen, poolside cabana and alfresco dining decks. Directly under the 75-foot infinity pool swimming pool is also a game room complete with a designer ping-pong table.
Initially priced at $42 million USD, Travis Scott purchased the incredible mansion for $23.5 USD in cash following two price drops and a change in of realtors.
