Sneakersnstuff has continued its exclusive adidas Originals releases by partnering with the Three Stripes for an archive-inspired drop. For its latest release, the global footwear retailer is championing its Swedish hometown and a silhouette first released by adidas in 1980 that has never been rereleased.

Named the Stockholm GT, the silhouette is release in a white and blue colorway inspired by the original release. Continuing the reference to Sneakersnstuff’s origins, the sneaker also features an insole printed with a map of Stockholm. Additionally, the archival sneaker has been updated with a Handball Spezial outsole.

This release kicks off the “Hometown” campaign from Sneakersnstuff, which will see a locally-inspired colorway of this silhouette releasing to mark every city it calls home over the course of 2020 and 2021.

The Sneakersnstuff x adidas Originals Stockholm GT is set to release through a raffle on the Sneakersnstuff app. Head to the brand’s web store for more information, and keep an eye out for more GT releases in the near future.

In other footwear news, adidas Originals also recently linked up with size? for a colorful and archive-inspired release.
